Located in Xiajian Village, Caochuan Town, Pinglu County, Laolongtan( literally meaning “Old Pools with Dragons in”) is developed by Shanxi Yellow River Shigang Tourism Group Co., Ltd. Construction began in July 2010, and it was planned and designed by Beijing Jiangshanduojiao Planning Institute. The tourist attraction is an unfrequented virgin forest, in which there is superior natural environment. It is divided into two canyon tourist areas in the east and west. The round-trip mileage is 18 kilometers. There are all kinds of scenic spots such as Virgin Forest, Thirteen Waterfalls and Thirteen Pools.
