SHINGEN System is introduced for All COVID-19 Patients in Yamanashi Prefecture

　All of Japan has been hit by the sixth wave of the pandemic caused by the Omicron strain, and the number of patients is rapidly increasing.
　Yamanashi Prefecture has introduced a new ‘Home Care Program for COVID-19 Asymptomatic Patients’ in addition to Accommodation Facilities with Enhanced Medical Functions and Recovery Accommodation Facilities.
　At every medical site for COVID-19 patients in Yamanashi, will be managed with the control system, named ’SHINGEN (Smart Health INformation Gathering & Evaluation Network)’developed by the University of Yamanashi.
　Patients who get positive results for the PCR or the antigen test can also be managed in the SHINGEN system.
　When the patients access the system through a QR code at home and enter their health conditions, the information is shared with the medical staff at the University Hospital in real time.
　The SHINGEN system is a revolutionary system that allows doctors to reach all patients.
