Mr. Shin Yin Lin, the Director, Education Division, Taipei Economic and Cultural Representative Office in Japan,visited our university

　On Feb. 27th, 2017, Mr. Shin Ying Lin, the Director of Education Division of Taipei Economic and Cultural Representative Office, which is a liaison office of the exchange between Taiwan and Japan, visited our university.

　A meeting was held with the President Shinji Shimada, Prof. Hiroyuki Uchida, the Director of Clean Energy Research Center, Prof. Akihiro Iiyama, the Director of Fuel Cell Nanomaterials Center, and Prof. Xiaoyang Mao, the Director of Center for International Education and Exchange Center, to exchange views about the research and educational exchange between universities in Taiwan and our University. Following the meeting, Mr. Lin had an inspection tour to Fuel Cell Nanomaterials Center, and discussed the present research status and future possibility of research exchange in this field.

　On behalf of Taiwan government, Mr. Lin offered a formal invitation to President Shimada to visit Taiwan in near future to further promote the research and educational exchange between universities in Taiwan and University of Yamanashi, especially in the field of clean energy, a featuring research field of University of Yamanashi, which has been recently drawing large attention in Taiwan too.
