Paper by Prof. Miyatake and his student was selected to be featured on the front cover of the journal
A paper by Prof. Kenji Miyatake of Clean Energy Research Center and his PhD student Fanghua Liu, “Well-designed polyphenylene PEMs with high proton conductivity and chemical and mechanical durability for fuel cells”, published in the Journal of Materials Chemistry A by the Royal Society of Chemistry, was selected to be featured on the inside front cover of the journal.
This paper reported that sulfonated polyphenylene ionomers containing trifluoromethyl substituents exhibited high proton conductivity and excellent fuel cell performance and durability under severe conditions. Prof. Miyatake commented that the findings are expected to contribute to next-generation fuel cells and the related areas and that they will continue to endeavor.
