A Courtesy Visit of the University of Pau and Pays de l’Adour from France/法国University of Pau and Pays de I’Adour 大学校长一行拜访了山梨大学校长

　On December 9, Dr. Mohamed AMARA, President of the University of Pau, Dr. Mathilde MONPERRUS, Dr. Laurent LANCELEUR, and Dr. Benat Delanghe paid a courtesy call on President Shinji Shimada.
　The University of Pau and University of Yamanashi had concluded the agreement on April in 2018 and have been conducting joint project and student exchange since then.
　After exchanging opinions the further exchanges and research collaborations with President Shinji Shimada, Professor Muramatsu (Executive Director for Education and International Exchange), Professor Kazama (Vice-president),　Professor Kumada (Dean of Faculty of Engineering) and Professor Mao (Director of Center for International Education and Exchange, the delegation visited the Satoshi Omura Museum and all members were impressed by the magnificent achievement of Dr. Omura as well as the history of the University). The delegation also touched the cutting-edge research of University of Yamanashi by visiting Advanced Biotechnology Center, Fuel Cell Nanomaterials Center and the Institute of Enology and Viticulture in the afternoon.

　令和元年12月9日（星期一），法国Pau大学校长Mohamed AMARA博士、Mathilde MONPERRUS助教、Laurent LANCELEUR助教、Benat Delanghe讲师4人拜会了岛田真路校长。
　我校与该大学在2018年4月签订了大学间交流协议，开展学生和教师的交流和共同研究。
　一行人与我校的岛田校长、村松理事、风间副校长、熊田工学部长以及国际交流中心的茅主任，就教师、学生的研究交流等问题交换了意见。之后，参观了大村智纪念学术馆，了解了大村博士的功绩、本校的历史等，深受感动。
　此后，下午的时间里参观了发生工学中心、燃料电池纳米材料研究中心以及葡萄酒科学研究中心，接触到了本校引以为傲的最尖端研究。
