Jumpei Takagi, a master student in computer science and engineering course received Student Honorable Mentions at the 81st national convention of IPSJ (Information Processing Society of Japan) on March 14-16, 2019 for his paper, ‘Reducing Training Time for Distillation of DNN by Self Distillation’ (adviser: Motonobu Hattori, associate professor in computer science and engineering). Student Honorable Mentions are given to students who have presented an outstanding paper at the convention.
