The members of Medical Students’ Study Group on International Exchange joined a short exchange program at Chulabhorn International College of Medicine of Thammasat University.
? 9 members of Medical Students’ Study Group on International Exchange led by Mr. Johji Ogawa, 3rd-year of Faculty of Medicine, joined a short exchange program at Chulabhorn International College of Medicine (CICM) of Thammasat University, one of our partner universities in Thailand from February 21st to March 1st 2017.
? CICM was established in 2012 by Thammasat University aiming for training international doctors. All the lectures are given in English at CICM.
? During the program, our students made a presentation introducing University of Yamanashi to the faculty members and students of CICM, visited attached hospital, and observed the lectures. They also participated in the college’s volunteer project of flood disaster prevention together with local students.
? On the last day of the program, the students made a courtesy call on the Dean of CICM, reported what they have achieved through the program and exchanged views about further educational exchange including accepting CICM students to University of Yamanashi.
? One of the participants said, “Through this program, I learned many things such as the importance of having global point of view, and also become interested in working abroad”
