Crime Prevention Lecture
There was the “Crime Prevention Lecture” conducted by the Center for International Education and Exchange at Kofu Campus on Thursday, Oct. 27th.
Four policemen from Kofu Police Station conveyed important notices to our 38 international students for not becoming victims as well as perpetrators of crimes.
The specific topics in the lecture were as follows:
- Theft
- Molestation
- Dangerous, marijuana, stimulant drug
- Traffic accident
- Insurance for automobile and bicycle
- Emergency call
- Trouble with neighbors
- Employment restriction and so on.
The participants seriously listened to the lecture and received crime prevention goods such as wire lock, reflective material bag and reflection tape from the Kofu Police Station.
After the lecture, Yamanashi Prefecture Office introduced the participants to the Fujisan Activities application of internet which provides them with not only useful travel information, but also a guide to the closest emergency evacuation sites in the area.
