Ms. Putri Rizka Lestari, Mr. Natsu-umi Takahashi Won Awards in the oral presentation of the 32nd Kanto Branch Symposium of the Ceramic Society of Japan
Ms. Putri Rizka Lestari and Mr. Natsu-umi Takahashi won incentive awards in the oral presentation of the 32th Kanto Branch Symposium of the Ceramic Society of Japan held at Fuji-midorino-kyukamura, Narusawa-village, Yamanashi on September 20th – 21st, 2016.
In this conference, one best presentation, four outstanding presentations, six incentive presentations were chosen among 54 oral presentations.
The research topic of Ms. Lestari is “Hybridization of Silver Metal Nanoparticle into ZnAl Layered Double Hydroxide for Photocatalysis Phenol Degradation”.
She prepared ZnAl layered double hydroxide with intercalation of Ag nanoparticles, and examined its photocatalytic activity by phenol degradation.
She said “I am very honored that I was able to win such an award. I appreciate Prof. Takei and the members in the group.”
The research topic of Mr. Takahashi is “Inducement of superconductivity in BiS2-based compounds by fluorination treatment using NaF”.
It is know that the superconductivity of AOBiS2 (A:La, Pr, Bi) appears by the fluorination treatment. He found a very simple fluorination treatment for AOBiS2 using NaF.
He also investigated the superconducting properties F-doped AOBiS2 systematically.
The evaluated point in his study is that the fluorination using NaF is very simple and very inexpensive.
