We Signed Academic Exchange agreement with Inner Mongolia Medical University, China

　On September 15th and 16th, the delegate from Inner Mongolia Medical University, led by Mr. Bai Changming, the president of the university, visited the University of Yamanashi for signing the comprehensive agreement on academic collaborations and the memorandum on exchange of teachers and students.

　University of Yamanashi and Inner Mongolia Medical College, predecessor of Inner Mongolia Medical University, had concluded the agreement on academic exchange on July 24th, 2017. Since then, the two universities have been exchanging teachers andstudents continuously. Inner Mongolia Medical College was renamed as Inner Medical University in 2012 to widen their scope of education and research At the signing ceremony, President Shimada and President Bai reviewed the achievements of exchange thus far and agreed to further promote the exchanges and collaborations from now on.

　After the signing ceremony, the delegate visited the new ward facility of the University of Yamanashi Hospital and took a look at theRadiation treatment and surgery equipments. They also visited the research lab of Pharmacology department. On the 2nd day, the delegate visited Advanced Biotechnology Research Center and The Institute of Enology and Viticulture as well, and they were very much interested in those unique research fields with which University of Yamanashi is featured.
