Yuki Yamada (M1) won the Best Presentation Prize at the 64th Annual Conference on Mass Spectrometry, Japan
Graduate student Yuki Yamada from the department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (supervised by Dr. Chen) won the Best Presentation Award at the 64 th annual conference on mass spectrometry in Suita, Osaka, 20 th, May 2016.
The presentation award recognizes the excellence in research presentation and communication skill at the annual meeting. A total of three Best Presentation Awards were given to 4 out of 205 qualified participants based on the quality of the content and verbal presentation.
Yamada’s research focuses on the development of novel remote electrospray ionization mass spectrometry and its application in the rapid and automated multi-sample analysis. The technique has potential in the direct and biological analysis of real-world living sample.
Yamada was thankful and honored for receiving the award and has expressed his eagerness to work even harder for his research.
